Project Overview
Dance Gavin Dance, an incredibly famous metalcore band reached out to my team to shoot a series of videos, as well as create some silly VFX bits and themes that ran through the course of these videos.
Pre-Production
Met with the band early in their writing stages to understand the concept of the album, as well as hear out initial thoughts and ideas revolving around the "Rat King" bit they had decided to pursue through all three videos. We created a series of intro animations, as well as some animated rat sequences and fun portal effects.
Post-Production
This video was created entirely in Cinema 4D and composited with footage in Adobe After Effects.
